Also it is quite a bit less expensive than Sticher (Stitcher Express is no longer supported by autodesk that now owns Stitcher.) It does have a demo version if you want to try it out. But I like it for what I can do with it and the time it saves me. Indeed, this report is based on only a few weeks of working with this program and YMMV. I am not claiming this program is better than Stitcher or any other program. But these problems are easy to correct quickly. I have had to adjust the “vanishing point” when I was not centered on the scene I was recording, and occasionally the antighost misses a very persistent ghost, etc.

In one case the earlier effort involved several hours of adjusting and correcting things, while AutoPano Pro gave me the same results immediately. So we are pretty confident to release a 3.0.7 version quite soon with an updated GPU engine that will work really faster than in previous versions. It stitches the pictures together so well I rarely need to make any PP adjustments. With the knowledge we now have after developing Autopano Video, we can use the GPU in a better way in Autopano Pro/Giga too. It does as good a job as they do and in one way a better job. The more settings you set and keep when getting panos the easier life is for the stitching software, but seeing what this software can digest I wonder what it could not handle.
